The pantograph is based on a design by TransTech. The ABB main transformer features four switchable secondary taps, allowing it to provide a 1360-volt output across various electrification standards. The locomotive utilizes two MITRAC TC 3360 DP V01 DC-AC main converters—one for each bogie—which employ IGBT-based switching components to convert the single-phase input into a 2.8 kV intermediate DC-link voltage. Each DC-link powers two traction inverters, with each inverter driving an individual traction motor.
