The new trains will increase capacity on some of the busiest railway lines in western Sweden.This exercise of an option follows the entry into service of the initial Avelia Stream Nordic trains, further strengthening the long-term partnership between Västtrafik and Alstom.

This order follows the successful entry into service of the first Avelia Stream Nordic trains, reflecting Västtrafik’s continued trust in Alstom’s ability to deliver a modern, reliable, and sustainable regional train fleet.
