This four-axle tank wagon is specifically designed for the transport of liquid chlorine (and/or sulfur dioxide). It features a tank code of P22DH and a test pressure of 22 bar.There are no openings in the tank below the liquid level.

The underframe is equipped with protective shields at both ends, in compliance with the requirements of RID TE25, provision d). The tank heads are reinforced to meet the requirements of RID TE25, provision b).

Functional Characteristics

Loading and unloading are performed via DN40 valves mounted on a DN500 manhole cover located at the top of the tank.

The top-mounted loading/unloading valves are pneumatically controlled. An access platform is provided around the valves to ensure operational safety.

The wagon is equipped with a reinforced draw gear and buffers featuring anti-climbing devices.The operating temperature range for the tank is -40 °C to +50 °C.

The wagon is fitted with an EDT101-type derailment detection system and a load-sensing (weighing) valve.
Access platforms are provided on both sides of the wagon.
