CRCC HXD1 Electric Rail Locomotive

HXD1 locomotive, the new heavy load freight locomotive which is applicable to run on trunk railway, is developed by CRRC ZELC based on the experience of DJ1 locomotiverunning on Datong-Qinhuangdao Line, especially the special environment of the Line. It is designed not only to improve the transport capacity of Datong-Qinhuangdao coal line, but also to promote the modernization of railway equipment technology. This locomotive is suitable for hauling heavy-hauled and long marshalling freight train betweenlong distance range and on the long ramps. The bogie adopts the low traction rod and the basic brake adopts the roulette brake, which has effectively improved the locomotive reliability; the air brake adopts the CCBII brake system and the electric brakeadopts regenerative braking, featuring energy saving and environmental protection; the locomotive has external reconnection control function, equipped with locotrol remote reconnection control system, therefor, the driver cancarry out remote control over two reconnection locomotive in one cab.
