•Features:
With independent intellectual property right of dual-voltage electric locomotive, CRRC ZELC took the lead in designing the first dual-voltage narrow-gauge electric locomotive (hereinafter referred to as SA 20E), which has been exported to South Africa. The freight locomotive (A cab at one end) with maximum speed of 100km/h is capable of operating under AC25KV/DC3KV. The track gauge is 1065mm. Its carbody is of an integral monocoque construction. It can withstand 4. 45MN compressive load and 4MN tensile load. The freight locomotive adpots electric drive system, microcomputer -network controlled system and narrow-gauge bogie. It can realize the following functions including multiple operation by maximum 8 locomotives; multiple operation in configuration of electric locomotive~~ iesel locaaotive; and low constant speed control(0. 2〜3km/h).
It is equipped with wireless data transmission system and IEMS (intelligent Energy Management System).
